Michael Gay, CLVS

Michael Gay is the president of Legal Video Solutions in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a graduate of Towson University and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. Before entering the field of legal video, he worked for the Westinghouse Defense and Electronics Systems Center for sixteen years in their Field Engineering and Support group. Michael spent several years traveling throughout the United States installing air traffic control radar systems and also spent one year in Morocco installing that country’s air defense radar system. He spent the last part of his career at the Westinghouse Electronic Repair Center managing repair programs for various military airborne radar systems.

In 1992, Michael entered the field of legal video as a freelance videographer, working throughout the Baltimore/Washington area. In 2000 he became the managing partner of Legal Video Solutions LLP; in 2002 he bought out his partner and became the owner of Legal Video Solutions. Michael’s legal video experience includes videotaping many of the mass tort cases of the 1990’s, including asbestos, tobacco and the diet drug fen-phen litigation.

Michael obtained his CLVS certification in 2001 and became a CLVS committee member in 2005. As a committee member, he has spent most of his time administering the Production-Testing phase of the CLVS program.
