In 2008, the traditional Track C/Software Training, for current CLVSs, will be offered at NCRA's Convention in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, July 27. Track C will NOT be offered in New Orleans in September.

Seminar
This Videotape in the Legal Environment seminar will set you on your way to videotaping depositions and courtroom proceedings with confidence and skill and in accordance with accepted Rules of Civil Procedure. With the demand for legal video services growing nationwide, and as recognition of the CLVS designation increases, you won’t want to miss this program!
Attending this seminar is the first step in the 3-step certification process to becoming a CLVS.
Prerequisite: Prior knowledge of basic videography concepts is useful before enrolling in this seminar.
Forum
The CLVS Forum on September 7, 2008, in New Orleans will offer only two tracks (Track A and Track B); you can choose the track that fits your level of expertise or interest as well as bounce from one track to the other.
Track A/Hands-On Workshop has been designed for videographers who are interested in refreshing their knowledge with equipment set-up and operation, unity gain procedures, conducting mock depositions, and calibration techniques. This track offers limited hands-on opportunities with video equipment.
Track B/New Video Techniques is for the intermediate videographer interested in learning about marketing, a settlement brochure, and much more.
In 2008, the traditional Track C/Software Training, for experienced/advanced videographers and current CLVSs, will be offered at NCRA's Convention in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, July 27. Track C/Software Training will NOT be offered in New Orleans in September.
CLVS Production Examination
If you have passed the Written Knowledge Portion of the CLVS examination, you are then eligible to take the CLVS Production Examination. This production exam is held concurrently with the March and September CLVS seminar/forum. For more information click here.
